Restoration Church in Belize traces its roots back to July 2019 when Chris and Katie
Henry began live-streaming their home church services at Hope Haven in San Pedro,
Belize. This marked the humble beginnings of what would later become a thriving
community of faith in Belize. Through a partnership with Pastor Rafael Torres, the
church's influence began to grow, drawing in both local residents and individuals from
abroad who found a spiritual connection with the message being shared.
As the church continued to expand, it saw the emergence of key figures within its
leadership structure. Notable names such as Pastor Marcos Amaya, Miss Celsia
Benguche, as well as David and Kim Mooers. Each played pivotal roles in shaping the
direction and growth of Restoration Church. These leaders brought their unique
perspectives and skills, contributing to the church's development and impact within the
local community and beyond.

New Location

In April 2021, Restoration Church found its permanent home in the vibrant
neighborhood of San Pablo, marking a significant milestone in its journey. The move to
this location not only provided a physical space for worship and fellowship but also
symbolized a deeper commitment to serving the needs of the surrounding community.
With a strong presence in San Pablo, the church was able to engage more deeply with
local residents, offering support, mentorship, and a welcoming place for all to gather
and worship.

Local Leadership

By January 2023, Restoration Church had transitioned to being independently led by
local leaders, reflecting a commitment to empowerment and sustainability within the
congregation. This shift towards local leadership further solidified the church's
connection to the Belizean community, fostering a sense of ownership and belonging
among its members. Under this new structure, the church continued to flourish, guided
by a shared vision of spiritual growth and community outreach.

Growth of Church

Over the years, Restoration Church in Belize has evolved into a beacon of hope and
unity, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds under the common
purpose of faith and service. Through its unwavering dedication to spiritual growth,
community engagement, and local leadership, the church has made a lasting impact on
the lives of those it reaches. As it continues to thrive in its San Pablo location,
Restoration Church remains committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive
environment where all are embraced and empowered to live out their faith.
